SportCruncher analyses each team's form by looking back at up to the last 10 home results for the home team and up to the last 10 away results for the away team. From these matches, key statistics are calculated such as goals scored, goals conceded, and whether both teams scored in each half. These percentages are then combined to estimate the likelihood of outcomes like Over 2.5 goals or Both Teams to Score.
The calculation is simple:
Prediction % = (Home % + Away %) ÷ 2.
For example, if the home team has a 70% record when playing at home for a statistic and the away team has 60% record when playing away for that same statistic, the combined prediction is (70 + 60) ÷ 2 = 65%. SportCruncher displays these predictions for each team's next game, and you can also view all historic results from the current season to see how the predictions compared to the real outcomes.
